Accounting Office Website Redesign for the New Generation of Clients

The project started with a short Messenger message.

“There’s a matter.”

Piotr, owner of PC Partner accounting office, noticed potential clients considering switching accountants. Conversations revealed one thing: the current website didn’t appeal to younger entrepreneurs.

“Maria, this should be a website for 30-year-olds, not my current clients. I want someone to visit, look, and say: it’s cool.”

About the Company

PC Partner is an accounting services firm operating since 1995, offering comprehensive financial and accounting services. The company has extensive experience, but its online presence communicated none of it.

Project Goal

Create a modern, readable, and credible website that:
• Attracts younger entrepreneurs
• Builds trust in the firm
• Clearly communicates services and facilitates contact

First impression of the old site: time stopped here.

Problems

• No responsiveness
• Poor visual hierarchy and readability
• Outdated appearance
• Unclear interactive elements
• No clear CTAs
• No trust-building elements

Information Architecture

Key issue: overly complex, unreadable service offerings
• Originally 8 service categories
• Users got lost and couldn’t understand service differences

Design Decision
• Simplified structure to 4 main, clear categories
• Service descriptions in benefit-focused language, not accounting jargon

Design Process

Analysis
• Existing site analysis
• UX/UI problem identification
• Owner discussions about target audience and expectations

Design
• New responsive layout from scratch
• Content hierarchy work
• Conscious text shortening (“too much text!” was frequent feedback)

Iterations
• Reduced content volume
• Refined service offerings
• Improved messaging clarity

Usability tests

Most common issue: still too much text → further simplification.

Final Outcome

Full client approval. The site finally:
• Reflects service quality
• Appeals to younger audience
• Builds professional, modern image

Changes

✅ Fully responsive design
✅ Improved contrasts and fonts
✅ Simplified, readable offerings
✅ Clear hero section and navigation
✅ Consistent graphic style
✅ Large, readable buttons (better accessibility)
✅ Trust-building elements (photos, owner bio, prominent contact)

Takeaways & learnings

• Working with friends requires assertiveness and clear design decisions
• Simplicity always beats content overload
• WordPress can be… demanding 😉
